How to self-exclude from DraftKings
DraftKings lets you lock yourself out of every DraftKings product from inside your account. It takes a few minutes, it applies everywhere you use DraftKings, and once it's set they can't shorten it.
We link to this operator only so you can lock yourself out. We do not promote betting apps or sportsbooks.
Step 1: Get your money and records first
Withdraw your balance if you can and download any records you need. After you exclude, withdrawals need help from DraftKings support.
Step 2: Open the Responsible Gaming Center
Log in on the app or website. Tap the RG shield logo, or go to Account Center.
Step 3: Choose Self-Exclusion
Under Breaks, tap Self-Exclusion.
Step 4: Pick a length
In the US the choices are 1 year or 5 years. Fantasy-only exclusions can also be 3 or 6 months, except in Connecticut. You'll see what your state allows.
Step 5: Submit and confirm
Tap Submit Self-Exclusion, enter your password, and tap Confirm.
Good to know
- Other ways to ask: the chatbot in the DraftKings Help Center, or a voicemail at (855) 357-2377 (as listed by Tennessee's regulator).
- Read DraftKings' own self-exclusion overview for the full rules.
- In some states, like Pennsylvania, DraftKings has said you need the state program instead. Check your state page.
- Then exclude from every other app you have. One lock is not enough if another door is open.
